Jorge Burgos (aka ATACA Jorgie) was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, and at the age of 6, moved to Orlando, FL. Jorge grew up playing baseball, which later led Jorge to be offered a baseball scholarship to Saint Leo University in Tampa, FL. In 2006, while still attending college, Jorge went to a Tampa nightclub which is where he was introduced to NY style salsa. Jorge was immediately drawn to that style of dance. Jorge started taking classes with Salsa Caliente Dance Studio that same year. He took on the challenge of learning this style of dance with just as much passion as he did baseball. Within 8 months into his classes Jorge started teaching. Erika Occhipinti, the owner of Salsa Caliente, commented that in her 8 year run with the studio no one had ever progressed and learned with such great talent and potential than that of Jorge. Jorge took the comment as motivation to one day become a great dancer, instructor, and performer. After graduating Saint Leo with a Business Management Degree, Jorge found himself with a potential life changing choice between pursuing baseball or salsa as a career. The decision was not a difficult one; Salsa had become the new passion and love in his life. Now, Jorge is known to be one of Florida’s most charismatic dancers with a smooth style and effective lead. His teaching style is one of his own; he uses high energy and humor throughout the entire length of class, while still being able to simplify moves for students to fully comprehend.

Jorge is very honored to now be partnered up with one of Florida’s top dancers, Tanja Kensinger (La Alemana). They have performed at various congresses such as the Orlando Salsa Congress 2008, Miami Salsa Congress 2008, as well as various Florida socials. Together they wish to add new and exciting flavor to salsa and bachata scenes across the world. Jorge is also the Co/owner, along with partner Rudi Lopez, of Island Touch Dance Academy, which is an instructor referral service, and also one of the top online providers for dance instruction via virtual classes.

Rodney "Rodchata" Aquino is a popualr Latin Dance instructor, writer and lecturer in the world. Solely responsible for popularizing bachata dance in San Francisco Bay Area, RODCHATA, as bachateros intimately calls him, has been in the Latin Dance scene for over 15 years and is considered one of the foremost authority in bachata dance. A certified instructor, his dance background includes Latin International Ballroom, salsa (on1, on2 mambo, and Cuban son, Casino), chachacha, merengue and bachata. His 1st encounter of the bachata dance was in the East Coast in the 90's. He embarked himself into dancing and teaching bachata and concentrated in studying the Dominican culture ever since.

He is the founder of numerous popular dance websites; Salsagang.com, iBachata.com, Rodchata.com, iTimba.com and CEO of Rodchata Enterprises, LLC. He had taught Bachata at big events all over the world such as San Francisco International Salsa Congress, Reno Dance Sensation, Sonoma County Salsa Festival, Salsa Extravaganza (Palm Springs), Summer Splash (Palm Springs), North West Salsa Congress (Seattle), Chico Dance Sensation, Sacramento Salsa Festival, Hawaii Dance Sensation, Casino Rueda Congress PS, Sydney Bachata Festival (Australia), Swedish Bachata Festival (Gothenburg), Finland bachata Festival, Philippines Salsa Festival and Dallas International Salsa Congress. He also teaches regular bachata and salsa classes all over the San Francisco Bay Area and is constantly sought for teaching Latin Dance workshops in nationallly and internationally.

He has written numerous popular dance articles such as "Bachata Innovation", "Bachata Is Not Grinding", "Pseudo Instructors" and others. Aside from being a gifted teacher, Rodchata has Masters in Psychology and presently pursuing his PhD in Cognition, Brain and Behavior. He is a certified Personal Fitness Trainer and holds 4th Degree Black Belt in the Martial Arts. His experience in the Martial Arts for 20 years and his background in Fitness Training plays a vital role on his effectiveness as a dance teacher.

Originally from Los Angeles, BB of Salsa Reno has been dancing Salsa for over 15 years and teaching since 2002.  Recently BB of Salsa Reno was voted the "Best Dance Instructor in Northern Nevada 2009" by the Reno News and Review Reader's poll. He has also been honored by Salsagang.com for his outstanding contributions to the salsa industry in the Reno/Truckee area and he was named "best salsa instructor in town" by Reno Magazine in January 2009. He is the co-producer of the Annual Reno International Bachata Dance Festival held the first weekend after New Years in January.

Salsa Reno is Reno's best Latin dance program. Students will have the opportunity to dance salsa at various locales in and around Reno to help bring what you learn in the studio out into the "real world" of salsa. BB of Salsa Reno is the host and resident instructor for the Mesa Luna Pre-Party/Social at The Edge Nightspot in The Peppermill Hotel Casino Resort, Havana Mambo at Cantina Del Lobo in Joe Crowley Student Union at UNR and Salsa Sundays at Aura Ultra Lounge in Silver Legacy Resort and Casino. BB of Salsa Reno is legendarily known for the best Salsa dance parties in the Reno area. Past events include Baila en la Playa at The Beach at the Grand Sierra Resort, Cafe Tabu, Hot Salsa Fridays at UNR and Latin Thursdays at Nikki Beach's Pearl Champagne Lounge. He teaches a comprehensive studio class salsa dance program at the Gemini Ballroom in Reno. Currently BB's studio classes have almost 200 students and his parties usually have anywhere from 100-700 people. He feels confident you're learning a dance with a strong following that's embraced by anyone that has heard about this exotic blend of Afro-Cuban-Caribbean music that is globally recognized as "Salsa."
